Nomad Awards 2024 is a year-long tech competition for students of all educational levels. It fosters technology innovation by partnering with corporations and communities through interactive engagement, training workshops, mentoring, and project building in real-world settings. Based on four key industry categories, students will propose innovative tech-driven solutions that address the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Where Art, History, and AI Intersect: Future GEN Girls Leadership Summit 2023
In support of the Future GEN Girls Leadership Summit 2023 hosted by The JYC Girls Impact Foundation, we curated a one-of-a-kind workshop centred around the themes of art, history, and generative AI. Held at the esteemed Hong Kong Palace Museum, the space offered the perfect setting for students to explore the intersection of cultural heritage and cutting-edge technology, the interplay between tradition and innovation This tech learning experience showcased the fusion of Art and AI, inspiring the next generation of innovators.
Preface and HSBC Jade Celebrate the Success of 2023 NextGen Summer Summit
Preface proudly joined forces with HSBC Jade to commemorate the resounding success of the 2023 HSBC NextGen Summer Summit. Over the course of three enlightening workshop sessions, we taught the latest Generative AI skills to a hundred teenage participants, who are the children of HSBC Jade customers. The culmination of this immersive experience was a hackathon, where the participants showcased their expertise in Generative AI, presenting innovative ways to enhance banking services specifically tailored to the needs of youth.

6-year-old's game applauded in Japan!
Not too young to code! A 6-year-old student amazed everyone with her programming proficiency by coding a game that was proudly showcased at Scratch Day Japan, Asia's largest young coders’ event. Using the camera sensor for control, players swipe bugs off the screen, creating a highly interactive gaming experience.
Coding buddies recreate Google's T-rex Runner
Nathaniel and Edison, our talented star coders, recreated the popular game 'T-Rex runner' in a remarkable display of coding mastery. In just 2-hours using pair-programming, they transformed a single player game into a 2-player version that was displayed through a physical arcade station at Preface Coffee and Wine, a unique avenue for our students to showcase their creations to the general public.
